MERCK 107302.0100 Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone Divergan RS
| Description |
|---|
| Catalogue Number | 107302 |
| Overview | Polyvinylpolypyrrolidone (Divergan®) is used as an excipient to prepare samples for subsequent analysis steps. It has a wide range of applications, especially in the beverage industry. It is used to pre-treat samples such as juices with strong colors which would interfere with the analysis using MQuant® or Reflectoquant® test strips. For decolorization, the juices are mixed with the powder and filtrated afterwards. The resulting solution can then be used for the determination of e.g. ascorbic acid or HMF. |
